Take the GPSR check of your product page

Answer a few short questions and discover which basic information may be missing from your product page.

1. Is the manufacturer's name visible?

Why this matters: The manufacturer's name shows who made the product and is the starting point of almost every product question.

2. Is the manufacturer's postal address present?

Why this matters: A postal address makes the manufacturer reachable for questions about the product.

3. Is an electronic address present?

Why this matters: An email address or web form gives buyers a direct channel for product questions.

4. Is the product identifiable via a model, type or SKU?

Why this matters: A model, type or SKU designation links the product page to the physical product.

5. Is a responsible person in the EU required and, if required, visible?

Why this matters: For products from manufacturers outside the EU, a contact point within the EU is often required.

6. Are warnings or safety instructions present?

Why this matters: Warnings and safety instructions help buyers use the product safely.

7. Is the information available in the language of the target market?

Why this matters: Buyers are best served by product information in the language of their own market.

8. Are underlying product documents available?

Why this matters: Underlying documents substantiate the information shown on the product page.

9. Is a batch, serial or type number visible on the product or the product page?

Why this matters: A batch or serial number makes a specific unit traceable, for example for questions about a delivery.

10. Do you also sell via marketplaces (e.g. bol or Amazon)?

Why this matters: Marketplaces often set their own requirements for the product information in listings.

11. Do you sell in multiple countries or languages?

Why this matters: When selling in multiple countries, each target market comes with its own language and information expectations.
